The Wind Turbine Deployment project was initiated to empower a growing eco-community with clean, consistent wind power through modular, low-noise vertical axis turbines. Located on the edge of a developing smart city district, the project focused on integrating renewable energy infrastructure with minimal disruption to the environment or architectural harmony. Our goal was to design a scalable, future-ready wind energy system that would serve both individual homes and shared community facilities, all while remaining affordable, efficient, and visually discreet.

Key Solutions
To achieve these goals, Aerlo implemented a customized wind energy system using AeroWave and Zephyra turbines, chosen for their efficiency and urban-friendly design. The turbines were installed on building rooftops and green community spaces, using a lightweight mounting system to reduce structural stress and installation time.
Our team developed a centralized monitoring system that allows residents to track energy production in real-time, optimizing usage and promoting conservation. The project also included battery storage integration for nighttime and low-wind periods, as well as a public dashboard in the community center that visualizes clean energy stats.
The visual design of the turbines was adapted to reflect the architectural tone of the neighborhood — neutral, minimal, and unobtrusive. By combining technology with education and aesthetics, this deployment serves as both a functional power solution and a model for future urban sustainability initiatives.
